Community activist Stephanie Campbell will be addressing “The Role of Religious Liberty in Politics” during the Leisure World Democratic Club monthly meeting on Wednesday, June 21st in Clubhouse 3, Room 1 at 1:00 p.m.
President Trump’s May 4th signing of an executive order titled “Promoting Free Speech and Religious Liberty” provides the background for this timely subject matter and Ms. Campbell is well qualified to speak on the subject. She is a founding member of the Orange County chapter of Americans United for Separation of Church and State and also serves as Vice President of AU’s national Board of Trustees.In addition, she has been a certified speaker for ACLU on religious rights, reproductive rights and gay rights.
