Dems to Study the Future of Healthcare at March 15th Meeting

The Democratic Club is delighted to welcome Dr. Eric Lever as the guest speaker at its upcoming meeting on Wednesday, March 15th at 1:00 p.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2.  Dr. Lever who will be speaking about the future of healthcare has been in practice in Gastroenterology for 25 years, spending the last 18 years at Kaiser Permanente.  He has been active in progressive politics since the age of 17.  Dr. Lever has a passionate interest in health care policy.   He believes that the future of our health care system, as well as the funding of universal health coverage for all Americans, depends heavily on which direction Medicare will take under the new administration.  As usual, Club members are welcome to bring a lunch and arrive at 12:15 for informal facilitated discussions with board members.  Coffee and dessert will be served.
